The Laval Rocket signed forward Israel Mianscum to a two-year AHL contract; two-way in 2024-25 and one-way in 2025-26. Mianscum recorded 35 goals and 52 assists for 87 points assists in 61 regular season games last season with the Sherbrooke Phoenix of the QMJHL. The 21-year-old added 55 penalty minutes and finished the season with a minus-6 rating.
