The Montreal Canadiens AHL affiliate signed Israel Mianscum to a two-year AHL contract.
The Laval Rocket signed forward Israel Mianscum to a two-year AHL contract; two-way in 2024-25 and one-way in 2025-26.
Mianscum recorded 35 goals and 52 assists for 87 points assists in 61 regular season games last season with the Sherbrooke Phoenix of the QMJHL. The 21-year-old added 55 penalty minutes and finished the season with a minus-6 rating.
The 6-foot-2-inch, 202-pound native of Mistissini, Quebec played 264 games in the QMJHL over five seasons, all with the Phoenix. He was a teammate of Montreal Canadiens prospect Joshua Roy for two full seasons in Sherbrooke.
Mianscum attended the Canadiens development camp in July 2022.
