They can rob a player from that consistency coaches crave and going in and out of the lineup hurts their conditioning. I think we sometimes forget that when they get thrusted back into action after a number of practices and then expect them to play at pace immediately. Let’s see if Laval can go on a run along with the Canadiens. That’s a good thing for fans and for management to let them know they’re on the right track. Sometimes luck plays a part too.
