The 24-year-old center was injured October 19 but could return to the lineup as soon as tonight against the Arizona Coyotes.
This morning Cody Glass took the ice with his teammates for morning skate, but that doesn't automatically signal his return for tonight's game against the Arizona Coyotes.
"It'll be a game time decision," head coach Andrew Brunette said after practice. "We'll see how he did after practice and go from there."
Glass played just under two minutes in the October 19 win over the New York Rangers before leaving the ice with a lower body injury. He had an MRI, and the injury wasn't as serious as originally suspected, but Glass was placed on IR and did not play with the team on the western road trip.
It was a tough time to be out of the lineup for the Winnipeg native. Glass spent much of training camp working with new veteran addition Gus Nyquist and the two were developing good chemistry together before Glass was injured. Nyquist joined Ryan O'Reilly and FIlip Forsberg on the top line in the last six games, so Glass's potential return tonight could cause several lineup changes.
Glass did not have any points in his first five games before being injured, but last season he recorded 14 goals and 35 points in his 74 games with the Predators.
