This will be the second meeting between the Central Division teams, and both the Predators and Jets are hoping to extend their respective win streaks.

The Nashville Predators look to extend their four game win streak against a Winnipeg Jets team that has won five in a row.

Tonight the Nashville Predators face another tough test against a Central Division rival as they welcome the Winnipeg Jets to Bridgestone Arena. The first game between these two teams was all Winnipeg as the Jets dominated in a 6-3 win and Kyle Connor scored a hat trick. Connor leads the Jets in goals with 14 on the season and is tied with line mate Mark Scheifele for the team's points leader. In the last two games, Connor was held to zero points against the Florida Panthers and Tampa Bay Lightning, but the Jets were able to win those games with other offensive weapons like Scheifele, Adam Lowry, Josh Morrissey, and former Predator Nino Niederreiter.

The Nashville Predators haven't played like the team that lost in Winnipeg earlier this month. After a tough four game losing streak, the Predators have put together four wins — three of those over Central Division teams Chicago, Colorado, and a dominate win over the St. Louis Blues on Friday.

"I think we've done a better job in probably all parts of our game," Andrew Brunette said this morning.

Despite the losses of Tommy Novak and Cody Glass, Nashville has gotten offensive production up and down the line up while Filip Forsberg has seven goals and ten points in the six games since Nashville lost to Winnipeg.

Juuse Saros has struggled early this season and saved 31/36 against the Jets on November 9. He had a strong performance in net on Friday in the win over the St. Louis Blues in which he faced 39 shots on goal. Tonight veteran defenseman Luke Schenn could potentially return to the lineup. Andrew Brunette said Schenn will be a game time decision.

The Predators face off against the Jets tonight at Bridgestone Arena. Puck drop is schedule for 7:00 pm CT.
