After a win on the road in Buffalo Sunday night, the Nashville Predators head to Chicago to take on the Blackhawks.
Tonight the Nashville Predators will take the ice at the United Center against Connor Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks in a Central Division road game.
It has been a tough start to the season for Chicago as the Blackhawks are currently last in the Central with a 7-16 record that includes losses in nine of their last eleven games. Chicago has also lost Taylor Hall to injury for the remainder of the season and veteran presence Corey Perry after the team chose to part ways with Perry. Andreas Athanasiou has been on IR with a groin injury as well.
The Nashville Predators will also be without a few of their players due to injury. Tommy Novak and Cody Glass are still out with upper body injuries, and Alexandre Carrier is listed as week-to-week after taking a hard hit from Kirill Kaprizov in the game last Thursday against Minnesota. Two call ups have seen ice time recently as Spencer Stastney returned to Nashville after Carrier's injury, and forward Mark Jankowski joined Michael McCarron and Phil Tomasino's line in the game against Buffalo for his first NHL game of the 2023-24 season.

It appears that Juuse Saros will get the start in net tonight while Arvid Soderblom will be the starting goaltender for the Blackhawks.
Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 pm CT tonight. Bally Sports South will broadcast tonight's game and 102.5 The Game will carry the radio call.
