Bridgestone Arena kicks off a multi-year overhaul, adding new escalators, expanded concessions, and a state-of-the-art ice system for a next-level fan and player experience.
Bridgestone Arena will undergo a massive upgrade over the next four years, as announced on Thursday, with the stadium's "Broadway 2030" transformation project officially underway.
This is the first phase of renovations, which will be "laying the groundwork" for larger-scale projects, which will commence in the proceeding summers in 2027, 2028 and 2029.
The goal for Bridgestone Arena and the Nashville Predators is to have this project done by the 2029-30 season.
This summer, upgrades will focus on the arena's south entrance on Demonbreun Street, adding new escalators to provide access to all four public levels.
This entrance currently has one staircase that connects the main concourse, the Gary Force Acura Club (level 4) and Bud Light Upper Level (level 4). The new project will add access to the Nichols Air Suite Level.
Bridgestone Arena has also taken fan feedback into account, adding more concession options and new landing areas at the Gary Force Acura Club, and addressing fan concerns about circulation through the concourse.
There are also plans to expand the arena's box office facing Broadway, which is expected to commence during the summer of 2027.
Beyond the fan experience, Bridgestone Arena will be installing a new ice plant control system, which will take three years to complete. The new equipment is to be installed in the summer of 2027, with the full ice floor being replaced in the summer of 2028.
Lastly, the arena will be installing a new security system from its partner, Evolv.
“We’re excited to be starting this process this summer by getting the arena ready for its next stage,” Predators and Bridgestone Arena Chief Strategy Officer Kyle Clayton said in a press release. “This three-to-four-year journey that we are about to embark on is going to be incredible as we transform Bridgestone Arena into a best-in-class venue for patrons, players and performers."
