Glass was injured in the October 19 game against the New York Rangers and will not be on Nashville's five game western road trip.

The Nashville Predators have placed center Cody Glass on injured reserve. The move comes as the Predators recalled defenseman Marc Del Gaizo to join the team on their five game western road trip.
Glass was injured in the October 19th game against the New York Rangers after playing just three shifts. The injury was listed as lower body, and reports from Penalty Box Radio confirmed it is a knee injury. An MRI revealed the injury to not be as serious as initially thought, and the early reports had Glass listed as day-to-day with an expected absence of seven to ten days.

After Friday's practice, head coach Andrew Brunette gave a brief update on Glass's recovery saying, "He's kind of day-to-day. We're trying to get him reevaluated every day. We'll see where it goes."
Glass has played five games this season and averaged 13:04 minutes per game. Although he hasn't recorded his first goal or assist yet, Glass and new line mate Gustav Nyquist were showing growing chemistry on the second line with a few different wingers as well.
