Former Nashville Predators prospect Alexander Campbell has officially found a home for the 2026-27 season.
Campbell, 25, has signed a two-way AHL/ECHL contract with the Calgary Wranglers ahead of the new season.
The Predators' third round selection in the 2019 NHL Draft, Campbell joined their American Hockey League affiliate, the Milwaukee Admirals, toward the end of the 2023-24 season. He played just 27 games with the Admirals, and five with the Predators' ECHL affiliate, the Atlanta Gladiators, before departing the organization at the conclusion of the 2024-25 campaign.
Campbell spent the 2025-26 season with the ECHL's Adirondack Thunder where he tallied 34 points (10 goals and 24 assists) in 46 games.
Now, Campbell will get the opportunity to prove himself once again at the AHL level, however, he's far from guaranteed a spot, as the Wranglers always have the option to send him to the ECHL's Rapid City Rush if they so desire.
