Nashville News and Notes#

With the NHL draft coming up, there are plenty of questions about what the Nashville Predators may do with their 13 draft picks as they look to construct a younger, faster roster.

On May 31, Barry Trotz introduced Andrew Brunette as the next head coach of the Nashville Predators. The announcement was met with enthusiasm across most of the fan base, but some Preds faithful were left wondering what is next for Milwaukee Admirals head coach Karl Taylor.

The Vegas Golden Knights won the Stanley Cup on Tuesday night in a dominant 9-3 game five win over the Florida Panthers. Some of what fans saw from the Golden Knights in the finals didn't surprise the Nashville Predators.

This week we marked the six year anniversary of the most infamous play in Predators franchise history - the dreaded "Sissons scored" missed call in the 2017 Stanley Cup Finals game six. It made us wonder, what might have happened if his (oh so obviously good) goal counted?

As the Predators focus on getting younger, one Nashville prospect is bringing championship experience when he arrives in town for training camp. What is Luke Prokop working on when it comes to developing his game? Fellow The Hockey News writer Glenn Dreyfuss gives us some insight.

Not to add salt to a still festering hockey wound, but Dreyfuss also talked with former Predator Eeli Tolvanen about his transition to playing with the Seattle Kraken.
