
Nashville is set to open the 2024-25 regular season at home Thursday against the Dallas Stars.

The Nashville Predators announced their final roster Monday ahead of Opening Night of the 2024-25 season.
When they host the Dallas Stars in their season opener Thursday at Bridgestone Arena, the Predators will carry 21 players: 13 forwards, six defensemen and two goaltenders. The complete roster is below and available here.
Forwards: Luke Evangelista, Filip Forsberg, Mark Jankowski, Jonathan Marchessault, Michael McCarron, Tommy Novak, Gustav Nyquist, Ryan O’Reilly, Juuso Parssinen, Colton Sissons, Cole Smith, Steven Stamkos, Philip Tomasino
Defensemen: Alexandre Carrier, Dante Fabbro, Roman Josi, Jeremy Lauzon, Luke Schenn, Brady Skjei
Goaltenders: Juuse Saros, Scott Wedgewood
The Predators' final preseason roster cuts came Monday, when they assigned defenseman Marc Del Gaizo to Milwaukee (AHL) and defenseman Tanner Molendyk to Saskatoon (WHL). Additionally, the team designated defenseman Spencer Stastney, who has been absent from training camp for personal reasons, as non-roster.
According to PuckPedia.com, Nashville's Opening Night roster has a projected cap hit of $82,757,715 with 21 active players. This does not include the $4 million retained cap hit for the final year of Ryan Johansen's contract.
