    GM David Poile announced today that the Predators have signed the forward to a one year, $800,000 deal.

    Today the Nashville Predators announced that they have signed 25 year old forward Tommy Novak to a one year, $800,000 deal for the 2023-2024 season.

    Novak, a third round draft pick for the Predators in 2015, was recalled from Milwaukee and debuted this season on December 19. He has since played 20 games for Nashville, recording 4 goals and 7 assists for 11 points. Novak has earned three points in his last five games.

    The former University of Minnesota player has been centering a line with Yakov Trenin and Tanner Jeannot and played on the second power play unit where he has scored a goal and 2 assists on the man advantage. 

    Before being called up to Nashville, Novak was dominating in the AHL with the Milwaukee Admirals. He scored 26 points in his 25 games under head coach Karl Taylor and was named to the AHL All Star Classic roster. Novak was unable to participate in the event due to his schedule with Nashville.
