The Tennessee Titans officially introduced their new head coach, Brian Callahan yesterday, and Callahan is ready to cheer on the Nashville Predators in his new city.

It's been a big sports week in Nashville as the Predators continue their battle to hold onto postseason hope while the Tennessee Titans made franchise changing decisions to restructure their front office roles and hire Brian Callahan as the sixth head coach in Tennessee Titans history.

The immediate response to Callahan's hire has been extremely positive around the city. He comes with an impressive resume serving on a Super Bowl winning staff in 2015 with the Denver Broncos and most recently as the offensive coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals where he's coached since 2019. He has eighteen years of coaching experience, fourteen of those in the NFL. He is well respected for his knowledge of dynamic offensive schemes and his ability to develop and coach quality quarterbacks like Peyton Manning, Matthew Stafford, and Joe Burrow.

Callahan played quarterback at UCLA, but he isn't just a one sport fan or athlete.

This morning on 104.5 The Zone's Ramon, Kayla, and Will Show, Callahan talked about his love for hockey.

"When it comes to sports I like to watch, little know fact — I played a lot of ice hockey in my life," Callahan said. "I played all the way through college. I was on the club team at UCLA. I was a football and ice hockey player, and so I love going to watch pro hockey."

"I can't wait to go watch the Preds play. It's going to be pretty cool."

Callahan could join a number of past and present Titans players who show up to support the Predators. The teams, along with Nashville SC, are all big supporters of each other.

Although Callahan's schedule is pretty packed as he kicks off his head coaching tenure with the Titans, he could see the Predators in action before the All Star break as the Predators welcome the L.A. Kings to Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, January 31.
