
Nashville Predators goaltender Juuse Saros and Team Finland saw their time at the IIHF Men's World Championship come to a close Thursday when they lost to Brady Skjei, Michael McCarron and Team USA by a 5-2 final at Avicii Arena in Stockholm.
Saros made 23 saves in the loss to Team USA. He finishes the tournament with an 0.943 save percentage and a 1.67 goals against average.
Skjei, McCarron and the Americans went on to defeat Filip Forsberg and Team Sweden in Saturday's semifinal round by a final score of 6-2. Team USA will now face Team Switzerland in the championship game on Sunday, while Forsberg and the Swedes will compete with Team Denmark for the bronze.
