Nashville has assigned 23 players to Milwaukee (AHL) and designated two as non-roster due to injury.

The Nashville Predators announced Sunday that the following players will report to Milwaukee Admirals (AHL) training camp:

Additionally, the team designated Austin Roest and Fedor Svechkov as non-roster due to injury.

Nashville’s training camp roster is now down to 31 players, excluding those designated as non-roster – 17 forwards, 11 defensemen and three goaltenders. An updated roster can be found here.

Some players of note who remain on Nashville's training camp roster following the latest round of cuts include 2023 first-round pick Tanner Molendyk, who does not yet meet the minimum age requirement to be assigned to the AHL, and several members of Milwaukee's 2023-24 Calder Cup Playoff team who have yet to make their NHL debuts, including Zachary L'Heureux, Adam Wilsby and Ozzy Wiesblatt.

Additionally, several of Nashville's offseason free-agent acquisitions, including Kieffer Bellows, Vinnie Hinostroza, Nick Blankenburg and Matt Murray, will remain at Predators training camp for now. Spencer Stastney is also still listed on the roster despite being absent from training camp for personal reasons.

The Predators earned their first win of the 2024-25 preseason Saturday with a 6-0 shutout of the Tampa Bay Lightning. Juuse Saros made 23 saves in the win, and Jonathan Marchessault recorded three points (1 goal, 2 assists) in his preseason debut with the Predators. 

Nashville continues preseason action Wednesday against the Carolina Hurricanes, with puck drop set for 6 p.m. CT at Lenovo Center in Raleigh.
