    One of the last few weeks of the offseason before rookie and training camp begin and there is plenty to catch up on with the Nashville Predators.

    There was a flurry of activity in Nashville early in the offseason with the trade of Ryan Johansen to the Colorado Avalanche. The deal came as a surprise to Predators fans, but the response in Colorado has been one of excitement. Colleen Flynn who covers the Avs for The Hockey News speculated on what may lie ahead for the former Predator.

    One of Nashville's neighbors is Fort Campbell in Clarksville, TN, home of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). The Predators are showing their support for the men and women of the military and for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation by playing an intrasquad scrimmage in Clarksville on September 28.
