
General Manager David Poile will officially retire June 30 from the Nashville Predators front office and serve in an advisory role as Barry Trotz takes over in his first NHL General Manager position.
It was a day to look back and a day to look to the future for both David Poile and Barry Trotz.
On Sunday, the Nashville Predators announced that the franchise's General Manager since the expansion teams inception would be retiring effective June 30 and that former Nashville Predators head coach Barry Trotz would become the second General Manager in the franchise's history on July 1.
Today the Predators organization held a press conference in which Poile and Trotz looked back at their time together in Nashville, share more details about this transition, and look ahead to the future of the team.
