The Nashville Predators played solid stretches of hockey in their Saturday night loss to the Arizona Coyotes, but the team and the head coach are frustrated with too many mistakes that cost them another win.
After taking a two goal lead twice in Saturday night's home game against the Arizona Coyotes, mistakes cost the Predators yet another opportunity to earn points as they lost 7-5 to the Coyotes.
"I thought tonight was just mistakes," Andrew Brunette said after the game. "It was a bad change. It was a face-off goal. It was two penalty killing goals. It's hard to win in this league if you do that."
"I really liked the effort, but we let them back in the game."

Dante Fabbro, who had a goal and an assist in the game, said afterwards, "We're in the business of winning right now and we're losing, and it's not good right now."
"I think it was just giving up too many free chances," Filip Forsberg said.
"Juice [Juuse Saros] made some unbelievable saves, but you can't give up chances like that. He's the best goalie in the world and he's not going to be able to stop all of them if we keep playing that like."
The Predators have lost five of their last six games and are currently tied for last place in the Central Division with the Chicago Blackhawks.
The team will be back on the ice for practices Sunday and Monday before taking on the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday night at Bridgestone Arena.
