Less than a month after they were in Nashville for development camp, three Nashville Predators [https://thehockeynews.com/nhl/nashville-predators] prospects will be back on the ice for the annual World Junior Summer Showcase in Minneapolis. Forwards Teddy Stiga [https://thehockeynews.com/nhl/nashville-predators/latest-news/3-takeaways-from-nashville-predators-future-stars-game] (2024 55th overall) and Ryker Lee [https://thehockeynews.com/nhl/nashville-predators/analysis-could-ryker-lee-be-nashville-predators-next-star-forward](2025 26th overall), and defensemen Jacob Rombach [https://thehockeynews.com/nhl/nashville-predators/nashville-predators-select-defenseman-jacob-rombach-goalie-jack-ivankovic-in-2nd-round-of-nhl-draft] (2025 35th overall) will all compete for USA Team White [https://teamusa.usahockey.com/2025wjssteamwhiteroster] in the upcoming tournament. The tournament will comprise six teams: White (USA), Blue (USA), Red (Canada), White (Canada), Sweden, and Finland. Stiga has been a regular with Team USA over the past two years. He spent two seasons with the United States National Development Team, where he was drafted out of by the Predators in 2024. In his draft year, he also competed for the United States at the IIHF U18 World Championship. Stiga just finished his freshman season with Boston College, netting 30 points in 36 games. Lee was one of the Predators' three picks in the first round of the draft this year, going at 26th overall. The Predators want youth and size, and Rombach is just that, standing at 6-foot-6-inches and being 18 years old. Rombach will also be playing in the Big 10 this fall with Minnesota. More Nashville Predators prospects could compete in the tournament, as Canada has yet to release its roster for the tournament.
