The reported offer the New Jersey Devils made to the Vancouver Canucks was revealed.

The reported deal was defenseman Simon Nemec, center Dawson Mercer, defenseman Anton Silayev, and a first-round pick. What held the Devils back was the inability to create the cap space to acquire Quinn Hughes.
