Jesper Bratt will be facing his former coach tonight when the New Jersey Devils face the Minnesota Wild. 

John Hynes coached Jesper Bratt when he began his NHL career. Hynes coached the Devils from 2015-16 until the 2019-20 season, when he was fired mid-season. He was replaced by Alain Nasreddin,e and Bratt was able to improve his performance following the departure of Hynes. 

Ahead of the matchup tonight, the former Devils coach spoke on what it is like to face his former player. 

“He’s a nightmare to play and coach against” Hynes said. 

The two teams will face off tonight at the Prudential Center. Puck drop is set for 7 pm.
