The New Jersey Devils will play two preseason games with rookies only, followed by four standard preseason games. Both rookie games will come against the New York Islanders, while the rest of the preseason is split between the Islanders and Rangers. 

The Devils will host each of them at the Prudential Center, and make one preseason visit to both Madison Square Garden and UBS Arena.
