
NEWARK, N.J. -- The New Jersey Devils announced the schedule for the upcoming Prospects Challenge. The Buffalo Sabres host the event and will feature the Devils, Sabres, Boston Bruins, Montreal Canadiens, Ottawa Senators, and Pittsburgh Penguins.
Friday, Sept. 15 @ 12 p.m.: versus Senators
Saturday, Sept. 16 @ 7 p.m.: versus Sabres
Monday, Sept. 18 @ 10 a.m.: versus Bruins
Last year New Jersey finished the tournament with a record of 1-1-1 versus Montreal, Buffalo, and Boston. The three alternate captains were Kevin Bahl, Nolan Foote, and Jeremy Groleau.
Goaltenders: Akira Schmid, Nico Daws, Tyler Brennan, and Isaac Poulter.
Defensemen: Simon Nemec, Reilly Walsh, Jarrod Gourley, Filip Bratt, Jeremy Groleau, Michael Vukojevic, Nikita Okhotiuk, Topias Vilen, and Kevin Bahl.
Forwards: Alexander Holtz, Nolan Foote, Brian Halonen, Noah Corson, Luke Bignell, Daniel D'Amico, Garrett Van Whye, Zack Jones, Chase Stillman, Xavier Parent, Aarne Talvitie, Josh Filmon, Graeme Clarke, Billy Jerry, and Brody Crane.
The Devils unveiled last year's roster on Sept. 14, two days before the start of the challenge. Fans should expect a similar timeframe this year.
The team's official website and social media channels will stream all three games. Per the Devils, tickets will be available in August through the Sabres for $10.
