The hits keep coming for the New Jersey Devils.

Near the end of the first period of Tuesday night's game, defenseman Dougie Hamilton got tangled up with a Dallas Stars player behind Jacob Markstrom's goal.
The blueliner got up and slowly went to the bench, where he remained until the first intermission, visibly in pain from the collision.
Hamilton did not return for the final two periods. He played 5:15.
The Devils played 40 minutes with five defensemen, four of whom played more than 23 minutes in the team's 4-3 regulation loss.
After the game, Devils head coach Sheldon Keefe told NJD.TV that he did not have an update on the 31-year-old's status.
Hamilton has 40 points this season (nine goals, 31 assists), leading all defensemen. His 182 shots are second-most behind forward Jack Hughes.
The Devils remain without Jack Hughes, who is being evaluated for an injury, and Jonas Siegenthaler, who is on long-term injured reserve.
The Devils will fly to New Jersey, and will have a few days before the team hosts the Winnipeg Jets on Friday.
