    The New Jersey Devils will face the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday night at PNC Arena. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 P.M. The team did not hold a morning skate. Head coach Lindy Ruff will speak with the media at 5:00 P.M.

    Devils @ Hurricanes - PNC Arena

    The Devils have earned a 0-1-0 record against the Hurricanes this season. In their last meeting, Carolina defeated New Jersey by a score of 3-2 on Jan. 25 in Raleigh. Jesper Bratt and Justin Dowling each scored. Vitek Vanecek replaced Nico Daws, who allowed three goals. Vanecek stopped all 11 shots he faced after entering the contest early in the second period.

    The Hurricanes are second in the Metropolitan Division (29-16-5). They are coming off a 5-2 victory over the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday night. Teuvo Teravainen earned four points, while Martin Necas scored a hat trick.
