Jack Hughes has previously appeared in two NHL All-Star Games (2022 and 2023).
NEWARK, N.J. -- This year's NHL All-Star Weekend will be held at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto from February 1 to 3. On Thursday evening, it was announced that 22-year-old Jack Hughes will represent the New Jersey Devils. It will be the first-overall pick's third straight appearance.
Hughes leads the Devils with 45 points (15 goals, 30 assists) in 31 games this season.
Over the past few months, Hughes has broken several records, including the fewest amount of games played to reach the 30-point benchmark for franchise history and becoming the fastest player to score 100 career goals in Devils team history, passing Brian Gionta's record.
On Wednesday night, NHL PR shared that Hughes collected his 30th assist of the season in his 31st game and became the fastest player in Devils history to reach the mark, besting Zach Parise's pace during the 2008-09 season (33 games).
If you want to see Jesper Bratt or Nico Hischier join Hughes in Toronto, fans will be able to vote in the next 12 players (eight skaters, four goaltenders) in the NHL All-Star Vote beginning 8:30 P.M. ET tonight on both the NHL website and X (formally known as Twitter).
