Willman has appeared in 13 games for the New Jersey Devils this season, earning two points.
NEWARK, N.J. -- Chris Johnston of The Athletic and TSN has reported that New Jersey Devils forward Max Willman has been placed on waivers Sunday afternoon.
Willman has appeared in 13 games for the Devils this season, earning two points (one goal, one assist).
The Barnstable, Massachusetts native signed with New Jersey as a free agent on Oct. 7, 2023, after spending the past few seasons with the Philadelphia Flyers organization.
He has been a healthy scratch since Jack Hughes returned to the lineup against the Calgary Flames on Feb. 8.
If he clears, Willman will report to the Utica Comets of the American Hockey League, where he has 16 points in 20 games.
The 28-year-old has already cleared waivers once this season, back on Oct. 7 when he was cut from the club's training camp roster.
