Inside the Locker Room

Fitzgerald on the Stanley Cup Final: "I was (in Florida) for Game 3 and Game 4. That was so cool. I wish I could have seen my brother play, but he played in Vegas. I got to see Matthew (Tkachuk), my cousin, and he put on a show. That was really fun, just to watch a Stanley Cup Final. ...We all go to the same spot before the games, like a good luck charm for Florida. It was cool to hang out at Matthew's place a little bit. It was a good time."

Filmon on what he's most looking to improve upon this week: "Well, I'd say the thing that everybody's kind of knocked on me for, for the last six years, has just been my size. I've been working really hard this summer to just put on size and get stronger. ...Since the end of my junior season, (I) probably (gained) about 15 or 16 pounds."

Hameenaho on the past couple of weeks: "It's been crazy the last two weeks, but I'm happy that I'm here now. I arrived Saturday evening with other Finnish guys. It's helping a lot that there are other Finnish guys. It's a good thing."

Casey on Luke Hughes: "It was so fun watching him. We were all watching those games and just so proud of him. To step in right away and have an impact is special. It's not something you get to see very often. I think the thing about Luke is he's kind of chill. The ups and downs, he takes them so well."
