Today, New Jersey Devils Forward Ondřej Palát announced that he and his wife are expecting their second baby. 

Palat, 33, will welcome his second baby into the world shortly. However, before that, he will prepare for the 2024-25 NHL season. 

Last season, he had 31 points in 71 games with the Devils. He is entering his third season with the organization after signing with them in 2021-22. 

Before that, Palat spent 10 seasons with the Tampa Bay Lightning and won two Stanley Cups. 

What a year it would be for Palat and his family if the Devils were able to win the Cup in the same year that he welcomes his next child.
