Preseason continues as the New Jersey Devils head across the Hudson River.

The New Jersey Devils hit the ice at 10:00 A.M. for a morning skate at RWJBarnabas Health Hockey House in Newark before traveling across the river to take on the New York Rangers. It will be their third preseason game, with both teams winning their respective matchups on Monday, Sept. 25.
Last season, the Devils' record versus the Rangers was 3-0-1. Jack Hughes led all New Jersey Skaters with six points (four goals, two assists).
Fans watching the game will see Luke Hughes make his preseason debut alongside his older brother.
If kept together, a line that should be on one's radar is Tomas Nosek - Michael McLeod - Curtis Lazar. The trio has spent time together this camp and shows some early promise. Between Mcleod's continuing development, Lazar's physical presence, and Nosek's versatility and solid two-way game, they could become a deadly asset to head coach Lindy Ruff.
