The Big Show: Nico Hischier Jesper Boqvist, Tomas Nosek, A.J. Boqvist played 189 games for the Devils over four seasons, earning 55 points. The Devils did not tender a qualifying offer to Boqvist, which led to him signing a one-year, one-way contract with the Boston Bruins on July 12, 2023, for the 2023–24 season. In the summer of 2024, Boqvist signed a contract with the Panthers, where, for the first time in his career, he is playing with his brother, Adam Boqvist. It may slip Devils fans' minds that Nosek played for the Devils last season. The now 32-year-old appeared in 36 games in a season plagued by injuries. He spent most of his time in the AHL with the Utica Comets but played 10 games with New Jersey before signing with the Bruins as a free agent in 2022. It was a short visit to New Jersey for Kulikov, who played for the Devils during the 2020-21 campaign. After collecting only two assists, the club traded him to the Edmonton Oilers for a conditional pick in the 2022 NHL Draft. With the pick, the Devils chose defenseman Charlie Leddy.
