ELMONT, NY -- After showing off the skill set against the New Jersey Devils last Friday, New York Islanders netminder Ilya Sorokin was back at it Tuesday night against the Colorado Avalanche.
With the Avalanche on the power play, superstar Nathan Mackinnon stared down a wide-open cage. Moments later, Sorokin made an extraordinary save on Ross Colton:

While Sorokin hasn't been, his saves, particularly early in games, have allowed the Islanders a chance.
