October 24 is a historic day in the NHL. For the first time, all 32 teams will be in action, and the league is making the most of the occasion.

Every start time is scattered across the evening, with no two games beginning at the same time. The action begins with the Toronto Maple Leafs and Washington Capitals at 6:00 p.m., and another puck will drop every 15-30 minutes.

This is the likely reason why the New York Islanders are playing the Colorado Avalanche at 8 p.m. rather than their usual 7:30 p.m. start at UBS Arena.

For fans who want to keep up with all the action, ESPN has you covered. The network is airing a triple header featuring the Leafs and Capitals, an original six-matchup with the Boston Bruins and Chicago Blackhawks, and the Stanley Cup champion Vegas Golden Knights against the Philadelphia Flyers.

ESPN is also broadcasting a unique “Frozen Frenzy” show, similar to NFL Redzone. Action on ESPN+ begins at 7:00 p.m., with ESPN2 joining the fray an hour later:
