After how the game ended in Nashville, the Islanders made some lineup changes against Minnesota.

Islanders Fall 3-1 to Predators in Dying Seconds of Third

The New York Islanders have tried to counteract the loss of Casey Cizikas by shuffling up their forward lines the last two games:

Anders Lee -- Bo Horvat -- Oliver Wahlstrom

Pierre Engvall -- Brock Nelson – Hudson Fasching

Simon Holmstrom -- Mathew Barzal -- Kyle Palmieri

Matt Martin -- Jean-Gabriel Pageau -- Cal Clutterbuck

Although the line configurations changed throughout the game, with Bo Horvat and Mathew Barzal reuniting for long stretches, that's how head coach Lane Lambert has gone to in their 4-3 overtime win over the Toronto Maple Leafs and their 3-1 loss to the Nashville Predators.

After losing the Predators game with 7.9 seconds to play in regulation, off a "cardinal sin" turnover by Matt Martin, the Islanders ran these lines against the Minnesota Wild:

Oliver Wahlsttom comes out for Julien Gauthier. Adam Pelech plays with Sebastian Aho and Mike Reilly plays with Scott Mayfield.

It was clear how disgusted Lambert was with Saturday's outcome, and we shall see if these lineup changes lead to two points Monday night.
