ELMONT, NY -- New York Islanders defenseman Alexander Romanov is back in the lineup Tuesday night against the Seattle Kraken.
The 23-year-old defenseman missed Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Calgary Flames after suffering a lower-body injury with just over 10 minutes to play in the Islanders' 6-2 rout of the Tampa Bay Lightning last Thursday.
Sebastian Aho skated with Noah Dobson on Saturday.
Romanov returned to the practice ice Monday and told The Hockey News that he was feeling much better.
"It's getting better," Romanov said following Monday's practice. "I can't say it's perfect. But it's getting better."
Romanov took part in the morning skate on Tuesday and is all ready to go.
