
If you haven't seen New York Islanders, big-time fan, Ralph Macchio, at UBS Arena lately, it could be because he's been working on his latest project, "Karate Kid: Legends."
But perhaps he hasn't gone too far, because it appears from the trailer that much of the film is set in New York City!
The movie is said to bridge the original "Karate Kid" movies with the "Cobra Kai" series available on Netflix.
"Karate Kid: Legends" will hit theaters on May 30.

Macchio - - also known as Daniel LaRusso -- was part of the beginning of the franchise back in 1984 and is connecting with Chan, who starred in the role of Mr. Han in the 2010 "Karate Kid” redux.

Macchio was nominated for an Emmy in 2021 for "Cobra Kai" as one of its executive producers.
