Kyle Palmieri is out for the season with an ACL tear.

The New York Islanders announced on Saturday that forward Kyle Palmieri will miss the remainder of the 2025-2026 season due to a torn ACL.

The veteran got tangled up with Jamie Drysdale in the corner in the second period of the Islanders' 4-3 shootout loss on Friday, leaving the game 5:38 into the second period. He did not return.

Palmieri joins Alexander Romanov and Pierre Engvall as players who are out for this season due to injuries.
