.@NHLPlayerSafety has suspended #NJDevils Paul Cotter two games for his illegal check to the head against #Isles Adam Pelech.
We are not sure of Pelech’s status with two games to go. He left Sunday’s game and did not return.
While it seemed that Cotter had no intentions of clicking Pelech up high, he makes unnecessary contact with Pelech's chin on a clearing attempt:
Pelech, 30, who a history of concussions, led the game and did not return.
We do not know if he will be available for the Islanders' last two games of the season.
