Washington Capitals forward Anthony Beauvillier had quite the Round 1 performance in the 2025 playoffs.

The former New York Islander had five points (one goal, four assists) in five games to lead the Capitals past the Montreal Canadiens.

Beauvillier's top moment from the series came in the opening game, when he found his rebound and then fed Alexander Ovechkin for the overtime winner:

Beauvillier built on his performance in the second game, sending a crisp pass to Dylan Strome, who beat Sam Montembeault in what proved to be the game winner:

The former Islander would also assist on Ovechkin's game-tying goal in the third game of the series and Strome's opening goal in the fourth game.

Beauvillier's four-game point streak ended in the series finale when the Capitals defeated the Canadiens 4-1.

An unrestricted free agent this offseason, Beauvillier and the Capitals will face the Carolina Hurricanes in Round 2.
