The New York Islanders have activated defenseman Noah Dobson off of long-term injured reserve.

The 25-year-old has missed the last 11 games with a lower-body injury and will slot in for Scott Perunovich on Thursday night against the Boston Bruins, skating alongside Adam Pelech.

“He's been working really hard in practice, so I'm not very nervous [to have him back in],” Islanders coach Patrick Roy said. “What I want to see is him just controlling the puck, jumping in on the rush, defending well, and doing the things that he's been doing very well since he’s been here.”

Puck drop between the Islanders and Bruins is coming at 7 PM ET at T.D. Garden.
