ELMONT, NY -- The New York Islanders will be without defenseman Tony DeAngelo for 1-2 weeks due to a lower-body injury sustained in their 4-3 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday.

The injury came on the Blackhawks' 1-1 tying goal at 12:46 of the first period:

DeAngelo, 30, has recorded 33 points (five goals, 28 assists) in 72 games this season after signing a one-year deal worth $2.75 million this summer.
