From original sketches to a league-wide vote, the Isles are handing over the creative reins to their faithful supporters to shape the team’s 2027-28 on-ice aesthetic.
The New York Islanders announced on Wednesday that they have created a competition for fans to create their 2027-28 Third jersey.
This contest is the first of its kind in the NHL:
Fans have until July 24 to submit their designs before the organization let's the fans vote on their five favorite.
The winner of the competition will get a ticket to the game in which the team dons their designed sweater for the first time.
