The Hammers kick off their inaugural campaign on the road before returning to Hamilton for a high-stakes home opener against the defending champion Toronto Marlies this October.
The Hamilton Hammers, the New York Islanders' new AHL affiliate, released their entire 2026-27 regular season schedule on Thursday.
Their inaugural seeason begins on the road, first against the Belleville Senators on Oct. 2 before a quick turnaround against the Calder Trophy winning Toronto Marlies.
Hamilton will hold their home-opener against the Marlies on Oct. 9.
The NHL announced that the full 2026-27 schedule will be released on July 16 at 1 PM ET.
