New York Islanders' 2024 first-round pick (No. 20) and Boston University Terriers freshman, Cole Eiserman, joined an illustrious list in the school’s history Friday night against the University of Vermont.

The Massachusetts-native scored the game’s opening goal, his 20th of the season, to join Jack Eichel, Macklin Celebrini, and Clayton Keller as the only Terriers to hit the 20-goal threshold in their freshman season since 1990:

Eiserman, who is just 18 years old, now joins elite company alongside three forwards who have already established themselves as elite NHLers.

The Terriers went on to win 6-1, with Eiserman also recording an assist on the game’s final goal, as he concluded the regular season with 29 points (20 goals, nine assists) in 33 games.

His two-point night capped off a memorable few days, as his hat trick in Thursday’s 8-2 victory over Providence College made him just the fifth Terrier since 2002-03 to record multiple hat tricks in a season.

The Terriers also clinched a spot in the NCAA tournament with their victory over Providence.
