New York Islanders prospect Daniil Prokhorov is becoming a fan favorite rather quickly.

The 18-year-old, who stands at 6'5 weighing, 209 lbs was a major standout during development camp, earning the primary assist on Quinn Finley's goal after a strong play cutting across the slot.

He was physical, he showed off the hands and even started Lets Go Islanders chants with the Blue & Orange faithful, despite barely knowing any english.

He's added to a fast-building legacy after his comments about the New York Rangers, who selected right behind the Islanders, at No. 43.

The Sarnia Sting selected Prokhorov with the 42nd overall pick in the CHL Import Draft. He has played for the KHL's junior league team, St. Petersburg Dynamo, over the last two seasons, recording 20 goals with seven assists for 27 points in 43 games.

Hell have to decide whether to stay in the KHL or come over to North America.
