New York Islanders prospect Jesse Nurmi (2022, Rd. 4) and the London Knights defeated fellow prospect Calum Ritchie (2023, No. 27 by Colorado) and the Oshawa Generals to win the J. Ross Robertson Cup as OHL Champions.

London won the series four games to one, winning for a second straight season.

Islanders prospect Isaiah George was part of last season's championship-winning team, ultimately falling in the Memorial Cup Final.

Nurmi, who had 31 points (9 goals, 22 assists) in 58 regular season games, recorded eight points (e three goals, five assists) in 17 playoff games so far.

Ritchie, who had 70 points (15 goals, 55 assists) after one goal through seven career NHL games, recorded 25 points (nine goals, 16 assists) in 21 playoff games.

Nurmi advances to the Memorial Cup Final while Ritchie's season ends.

Both players, 20, will be headed to the Islanders organization for the 2025-26 season.

Ritchie is expected to make the Islanders out of training camp, likely beginning his first season on Long Island as the No. 3 center.

Nurmi will be tasked with playing a part in the Bridgeport turnaround after back-to-back last-place finishes.
