Islanders Prospect Quinn Finley Heading Back To Wisconsin For Junior Season

New York Islanders forward prospect Quinn Finley is returning to Wisconsin for his junior season:

The 20-year-old, whom the Islanders drafted in the third round (No. 78) at the 2022 NHL Draft in Montreal, is coming off a fantastic sophomore season.

In 37 games, Finley recorded 20 goals and 20 assists for 40 points, becoming the first Badgers player since Cole Caufield to reach the 20-goal, 40-point mark.

Caufield scored 30 goals, with 22 assists, for 52 points to win the Hobey Baker in 2020-21.

Finley was named to the BIG 10's second team.

The Islanders own Finley's rights until Aug. 15, 2027, which would be a few months after his senior season concludes, if he elects to play four years of collegiate hockey.

Forward prospect Danny Nelson (2023, rd. 2) has elected to return to Notre Dame for his junior year.
