University of Wisconsin Badgers forward and New York Islanders’ 2022 third-round pick (No. 78) Quinn Finley was named to the Big 10 Second Team for the 2024-25 season:
The 20-year-old sophomore broke out for the Badgers in 2024-25, scoring 40 points (20 goals, 20 assists) in 37 games, leading the team in both goals and points.
Finley's season ended on March 9 when the Badgers fell to Ohio State University 3-2 in Game 3 of the quarterfinal round in the 2025 Big Ten Hockey Tournament.
He will now decide whether to return to Wisconsin for a third collegiate season or turn professional and sign either an entry-level contract with the Islanders or an Amateur Tryout with the Bridgeport Islanders.
Finley's accolade is the latest among Islanders prospects.
2024 first-round pick (No. 20) Cole Eiserman was recently named Hockey East Rookie Of The Week for his overtime heroics against the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
