    New York Islanders prospect and Muskegon Lumberjacks defenseman Xavier Veilleux has won the 2025 Clark Cup.

    Veilleux, a 2024 draft pick (No. 179) of the Islanders, recorded eight points (three goals, five assists) in 14 playoff games en route to the Lumberjacks' first-ever United States Hockey League championship title.

    The 18-year-old recorded 41 points (eight goals, 33 assists) in 61 regular season games, leading the team in assists among all skaters while ranking first in goals and points among defenseman.

    Veilleux is committed to joining Cornell University in 2025-26, where it is expected he will take on a prominent role on their blue line.
