EAST MEADOW, NY -- Following their 4-3 overtime win against the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday night, the New York Islanders hit the ice for practice on Friday.

Because their game on Saturday against the Calgary Flames is a 4 PM ET start, there will be no morning skate.

Here are the updates from practice:

Goaltender Marcus Hogberg (2-3-0, 1.70 GAA, .938 SV%) will get the start, his first since March 9, a 4-1 loss to the Anaheim Ducks.

Starter Ilya Sorokin, who turned aside 38 shots on Thursday, has started five straight games and 18 of the last 20.

"We play almost every other day. I know we have a back-to-back game with Tampa and Carolina after the homestand," Roy said. "We want to try to manage the schedule the best we can."

Defenseman Alexander Romanov, who has missed the last two games due to illness, is expected to return to the lineup.  Roy said that he had to talk with Romanov following the skate, but that's the plan.

Romanov skated with Tony DeAngelo at practice, with Scott Mayfield the likely player coming out.

    Here are the expected lines:
